What do you get when you mix sophistication, glamour, and around the way fashions? You get a personalized stylist, one of a kind pieces, and a fashionista's paradise! This is She Boutique has been keeping me LACED for the past few years, with unique items for the unique lady, with an emphasis on the hood girl at heart!

Founded by Adrienne Randall, This Is She Boutique is located in Reading, PA. Don't let that stop you from getting all the latest pieces though! Adrienne also offers personal shopping and styling services. If you're already sure of what you need, expect to find reasonable prices for the diva in you!

Geared towards the urban community, Adrienne Randall says her clientele is the 'urban sophisticated fashionista', where she specializes in high fashion. A face like this is especially important for us hood girls! I mean, Rainbow and 10 Spot will ALWAYS be great places to shop, but with This Is She Boutique, gone are the days of possibly running into another diva with the same dress!

"...fashion is a confidence booster. It feels good to purchase and wear the pieces you love. It gives a woman an extra pep in her step and a swing in her hips. To me that is the best feeling in the world to know I was apart of that."

OOTD: Oxblood Blazin'

Hello everyone! Sorry if I've been kind of mum lately in the blogosphere. I'm working on some amazing things that I can't wait to share with you. Today, I re-surface in this fab find I got from JustFab in the tune of zippers and vibrant colors. If you're not familiar, JustFab is an online boutique that runs on style profiles and monthly subscriptions. They charge you $39.95 a month, and you get your pick of their ENTIRE online catalog, complete with shoes, sweaters, jewelry, and outerwear. This month, I looked through my closet and noticed a severe deficit in blazers. As stated in my previous post, my plus girl arms make blazers (or any tops without stretch) a bit of a task for me. Where I go up to satisfy my arms, I find problems in the mid-section and waist fit. This blazer  featured a nice scallop fit in the front, with an amazing cape/fly-away effect in the back, complete with this cool (and functional) gold zipper. This awesome and unique piece also comes in black. Check it out at Justfab right now. And don't worry if you don't have a subscription(though I definitely recommend it). You can still load your cart up with goodies.

Blogger Chronicles: Lehigh Valley Fashion Week

One of my biggest conerns related to starting a blog was being...extra , for a lack of a better word. When I say this, I mean that I wasn't 100% comfortable walking around in bright yellow stilettos half of the time, or that contrasting colors in one outfit wasn't acceptable everyday wear. But this weekend, I was shown that I could do it, and I was shown where to find it. Moral of the sptry: DAMMIT, be fabulous

This past weekend, I had the awesome opportunity to moonlight as a blog correspondent and plus sized model for the 2ND Annual Lehigh Valley Fashion Week in Allentown, PA. This event was truly one of a kind, as it paid homage to some of the most beautiful and unique fashions in "The Valley." Hailing from the Poconos for the past 10 years, this was HUGE, as we're not used to doing too much besides a nice peplum top and a 5 inch heel (if we're feeling really frisky).

The show featured deisgns from designers of local boutiques such as Abundant Style (my personal favorite), Cat's Meow, Dartanya, Clotheversity, and Clothes Mentor, to name a few. All of the fashions ranged from casual to dressy, while many of the fashions featured edgy designs for the upcoming Spring and Summer 2016 seasons.

One of the newer features of the show? US!!! And by us I mean the curvy. The full figured and fabulous plus sized models. Last year's show featured straight models in dressy, formal, and swimwear. This year's line-up threw a curve-ball (literally) with a diverse line-up of beautfiul ladies flaunting all of their God-given assets on the runway in styles such as jeans by Melissa McCarthy and Michel Kor's. All of the fashions were sure to hug our curves in just the right places, while being kind to our pockets.

Other new faces this year were the children's scenes, where girls as young as 5 years old (being fashionable has NO limit) modeled pieces from local designers.

Lehigh Valley Fashion Week will be gracing our catwalks and social media platforms for a 2nd run sometime in August. There will be more behind-the-scenes looks as well as updates on upcoming promotional events. You can also check Lehigh Valley Fashion Week's Facebook page for links to their fabulous deisgners and models. Don't forget to subscribe to my page for more updates on the fly and fashionable of the Valley!
